Fuselage, landing gear, two wings and two tails - these are the modules of Tiguar. The assembly takes less than 2 minutes thank the system of secure joints and fixing. This pioneering solution makes the construction user-friendly.
High endurance of Tiguar demands polishing every detail of aerodynamics. To provide stable flight conditions, we designed fully covered propulsion system, highly optimized winglets and a separated V-tail. Propeller wash doesn’t interrupt the rest of the streamline construction.
AIRHYBRID PROPULSION SYSTEM
A coupled electric and fuel injected gasoline propulsion system optimizes fuel consumption. IIt has a built-in starter as well as on-board generator providing up to 150 Watts of electrical power. A muffler reduces the acoustic signature of the aircraft to minimum. It’s undetectable within 500m.
A spacious fuselage and up to 9 kg of payload capability allow to integrate various sensors. It’s the first in the world UAV with completely fuselage-integrated gyro stabilized gimbals. Gimbal can be equipped with electro-optical HD 720p sensor as well as 640x480 IR sensor. It includes video stabilization, moving target indicator and onboard video recording on-demand.
Active temperature control system controls a current engine temperature. According to the present calefaction, cooling systems adjusts cooling rate. This solution enables you to use the aircraft in both subzero and hot conditions without the decrease of level of performance.
In case of any emergency that endangers safe flight, parachute helps. The system is deployed automatically when any critical flight system fail occurs, decreasing the risk of damage of the aircraft. It’s also a solution for secure landing if recovery in unprepared sites is needed.
S-410 Tiguar introduces first-in-the-world distributed redundancy without any single point of failure devices. The system consists of three separate autopilot systems operating at the same time. In case any of them fails, the other two take over still providing double redundancy.
The AirHybrid propulsion system includes a starter/generator that allows to restart the engine in case it stops. Starter also allows for easier and safer ground operations without any need to interact with the engine.
